Find us

We are 7 miles from Wrexham and 7 miles from Mold. nestled on top of hill in Llanfynydd, with stunning views over the rambling Welsh hills.

Directions – from Wrexham. Head under the bridge past the Holly Bush pub in Cefyn y Bedd, swing a first left towards Brymbo, Bwlchgwyn, and Coedpoeth, after about 5 minutes turn right to Llanfyndd. Keep going for another 5 or so mins, past the Ffrith into Llanfyndd and you’ll see us at the top of the hill.

Directions – from Mold. Follow the Corwen Road A5014 from Pontblyddyn, follow this through Pontybodkin, take the B5101 Ffordd Llanfynydd, through the traffic lights, over Offa’s Dyke and down the hill, up over the other side you will have reached Llanfynydd, the Cross Keys is situated in the heart of the village next to St Michael’s Church and the Post Office.

Monday                                ~ Closed

Tuesday                               ~ 12 noon to 10pm, with food orders from 5.00pm till 8.30pm

Wednesday to Thursday  ~ 12 noon to 10pm, with food orders from 12 noon till 8.30pm

Friday to Saturday           ~ 12 noon to 11pm, with food orders from 12 noon till 8.30pm

Sunday                                 ~ 12 noon to 10pm, with food orders from 12 noon till 8pm

~ Bookings

We do take bookings, and we also keep tables available for ‘walk in’s’ in the bar and snug area.

Please make a booking by using our online booking calendar link at the top of the page.
Unfortunately, we are not able to take bookings via email or Facebook.

Outside – it’s first come first served to take advantage of those roiling Welsh hills.

~ Alfresco

Our terrace and patio tables are available on a first come first served basis.

~ Children

Yes, children are very welcome. We’ll have a children’s menu, highchairs and baby changing facilities.

~ Dogs

On a lead in the bar area are very welcome – when booking please let us know if you need a ‘dog table’.
